In an effort to make this space at least a little useful to me as a reader and writer of fiction, I’ve decided to take on a new project where I read, think about, and write about (not reviews, there will be no arbitrary numbering system composed of stars, pieces of lasagna, or rabbit teeth) three stories a week (and done every other week) from a single author. I’m going to keep this going for as long as I can, partially because the idea of a schedule appeals to me and partially because I don’t read enough short fiction.
So! The author for this week is Sarah Pinsker. I haven’t decided on which stories to read just yet (except for her Nebula-nominated “A Stretch of Highway Two Lanes Wide”), but I’ll have my post up about her first story later on today. Wee!
